The Branch Lucy
Hello my name is Lucy, and I was rescued on a rural property south of Booral along with my Mum. Unfortunately, my poor Mum had a fractured arm which our rescuers believe she sustained some weeks before. I escaped any injury.
I am on my own now as koalas in the wild typically are at my age, however I am still not quite ready to go home. Under the great care of all the team at Port Stephens Koala Hospital, I continue to learn how to be an adult koala and display all the natural behaviours I should. Once I am ready I will be released back into the area I was found – hopefully this will be soon. Your adoption would contribute towards the cost of providing me, and all my friends, with excellent care.
Please go to the Adopt a Koala page to support the Port Stephens Koala Hospital with their care and rehabilitation of all the koalas and wildlife. Makes a wonderful gift.
