3. Purchasing as a Guest or Creating an Account

3.1 To make a donation or purchase an adoption or a gift from the shop through the Website, you may choose to either:

  • Create an account to save your details for future purchases.

3.2 If you choose to create an account, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your name, contact details, and other information necessary to complete purchases or donations.

3.3 You warrant that any information you provide—whether as a guest or account holder—will be accurate, correct, and up to date.

3.4 If you create an account, you will be granted access to additional features such as saved details, order history, and faster checkout. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3.5 You may not create an account or use the Purchase Services if:

5. Making a Donation, or Purchasing an Adoption or Products

5.1 When making a donation or purchasing an adoption or other products—whether as a guest or account holder—you agree to pay the listed purchase price.

5.2 Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, and you agree to their terms and privacy policies. We may also offer other payment options from time to time.

5.3 After payment is confirmed, you will receive a tax receipt. We may record purchase details for order fulfilment and legal compliance.

5.4 Donations and adoptions are made in connection to the Port Stephens Koala and Wildlife Preservation Society Ltd Deductible Gift Receipt status (DGR) and a DGR tax receipt will be issued and sent to you.

6. Warranty

Our products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

You may request a repair, replacement, or refund if the product has a major fault or is not of acceptable quality.

To make a warranty claim, you must:

  • Provide proof of purchase
  • Describe the issue

Warranty claims cover defects in materials or workmanship. They do not cover misuse, damage, or modifications.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  3. If unresolved, mediation will occur in Nelson Bay, NSW
  4. Mediation costs are shared equally

Communications during dispute resolution are confidential.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes must be resolved in NSW courts.

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest will continue to apply.

16. Independent Legal Advice

Both parties agree these Terms are fair and reasonable and acknowledge the opportunity to seek independent legal advice.
