Maudi & Lucy
Hello my name is Maudi – and with me is my joey Lucy. I was rescued on a rural property south of Booral and, thank my lucky stars for the rescue, as I had a badly fractured arm which my rescuers believed I sustained some weeks before. Despite my fractured arm, and being in enormous pain from the break, I have been able to survive and managed to care for my beautiful joey, Lucy.
Since coming to Port Stephens Koala Hospital, I have undergone successful surgery but I still face many months of intensive rehabilitation whilst still being a full-time mum. Thank goodness, Lucy escaped any injury.
Please go to the Adopt a Koala page to support the Port Stephens Koala Hospital as I understand that my treatment costs so far exceed $10,000 with further surgery required in the coming weeks. You can help with these costs by adopting us to help with my treatment in the months ahead.
